What are the differences between File Transfer and File Storage Companion?
Can I send files, folders, and clipboard from Finder or other apps?
Yes. File Transfer supports OS X system services. You can send files, folders, and clipboard from any other application. Select a file in the Finder, a text in TextEdit, or an address in Safari and click on the Application Name → Services → Send with File Transfer menu. Or just type ⌘<.

Purchasing
Should I pay for using File Transfer on multiple devices?
For personal uses no. If you own multiple devices you only pay once when devices use the same iTunes account to purchase apps.
For commercial uses you need a license for File Transfer for each device. In this case, we recommend you to enroll in the Apple's Volume Purchase Program.
Is File Transfer for Mac available outside the Mac App Store?
No. Our Mac apps are only available through the Mac App Store. We think it is a great opportunity to guarantee to our users security and stability, no extra costs, friendly licensing terms, and better maintenance experience.
